Life
So, Lately
Posted March 12th, 2009 at 3:01 amThe last month of my life has been, without question, the most productive and inspiring month of my life.
I owe it all to water. Well, ok. I owe lots of it to water.
For as far back as I can remember, I've had what one might call a 'weight problem'. For years, this has caused me depression, low self esteem, and various negative physical effects. I was tired all the time, even after sleeping for 8 or more hours. I rarely felt healthy. And the list, it grows and grows.

light
Posted October 28th, 2008 at 5:03 amMornings are a unique aspect of a day. The start of a new one - the most time between now and dusk, when the wind dies back down and the temperature falls. Mornings light up everything, darkness evades the rays of yellow only for so long. Morning comes like a heartbeat - the pulse of life. A crescendo of activity marking yet another day.
Enjoy yours.
Change != bad
Posted May 17th, 2008 at 10:21 pmSo here I sit, on the eve of my first Saturday in Omaha. Earlier, after I got my interwebs hooked up (finally..), I walked down to the Old Market and got some food, a CD by Cut Copy, a CD by Tokyo Police Club and a pint of beer. I've been listening to the Cut Copy cd, titled In Ghost Colours and so far it's fabulous. It has a somewhat 80's sound, and it's very mellow and smooth.
Reservations
Posted May 7th, 2008 at 9:59 pmAs anyone who is or was a college student can attest to, lunch time in the Union (every campus has one) is somewhat hectic. This results in people reserving tables for themselves by means of a backpack, friend(s), or a homeless person. Most students acknowledge a certain limitation of the staff to keep tables in proper order during such times, and thus often there are random bits of paper, pencils, pens or other crap on the tables.
Thus, a few pieces of paper are not enough to reserve a table. Usually.
